An update on our community water borehole project, expanding reliable access to clean drinking water for rural families.
Access to clean drinking water remains one of the most critical determinants of health and well-being in rural West Africa. Following our initial assessment in 2023, Omole Foundation for Hope launched a focused community clean water project to bring dependable, clean water to families who have spent generations relying on untreated surface streams.
Our field team has completed site hydrology tests, drilling, and community water committee formation. The installation features an environmentally conscious pump system designed for low-maintenance durability.
Clean water is more than a resource; it restores hours of productivity to mothers and allows children to attend school on time rather than trekking miles with water buckets every morning.
